I keep seeing her when I close my eyes. I feel her against my skin. Her lips. Her touch. I spend every moment, waking and sleeping, missing her. She was the only good thing in the mess of Berlin. She reminded me I still have a soul. Although, now that she is gone, I wish I didn't have one. It hurts too much to be without her. Berlin was my last mission. I have my life back. But it wasn't my life I needed. I need her. But, she is gone. All because I was too late to save her.
